Hi, my name is Kylie Brown and I run Genealogist Services. I’m originally from Melbourne, Australia and now live in the beautiful South East Kent coast near the Sussex border.
“I love sharing the family stories with others of how their ancestors lived their lives...”
I have completed family histories and genealogy over the years for many clients
and have been reseraching my own family history for over 25 years.
I also have a keen interest in local history, which I studied for several years at the University of Kent.
I am currently studying at the Institute of Genealogy and Heraldic Studies in Canterbury, Kent and I am registered with the Association of Professional Genealogists and the
Information Commissioners Office No. ZA328320.
I love not only doing genealogy but also the family history and linking into the local history of an area at the time.
I have a great interest in the Romney Marsh and Cinque Ports in Kent, as well as the Yarra Valley, Melbourne and North West Tasmanian area in Australia.
I am particularly fascinated in what the lives of ancestors were like prior to arriving in a completely different country where often communities and towns were only just being established.
Research I’ve conducted has taken me all across Australia and many parts of the United Kingdom.
I often travel to local repositories in Kent, Sussex and London. I love sharing the family stories with others of how their ancestors lived their lives,
as I believe, each one of them have an interesting story and how different their lives must have been to ours today. Genealogy and family history is such
a fascinating and exciting journey of discovery which I love to help others realise. Each new family I research provides continual learning about different areas.
I look forward to helping you on your journey to discover your ancestors and where you came from.
